Who is Flip Archie?
Spending most of his life as a creative, Flip Archie is who many call “A Legend”.
Born in Fairfax, VA to military parents, Flip Archie had a childhood that consisted of a lot of moving and changing schools. As a high school junior, he ended up just a little over an hour south of Atlanta, where Flip started gaining popularity as a music producer. Since the age of 14, he also ran a recording studio out of his bedroom. In 2013, He began his camera journey taking photos and shooting videos for the local artists he had been working with for years. Not long after, Flip discovered his love for great imagery and challenged himself to get better. Becoming one of the most sought out directors in his area meant one thing… he had to start working with the top people in Atlanta. From working with record labels such as Quality Control, Def Jam, Atlantic and many others, he elevated to become very popular in the music video world, but he did not stop there. Flip took on many roles just to be on set and gain experience, often taking a step back from directing.
Before starting Innovizual, Flip tried branding the music video production as a subsidiary of his record label. “I wanted to keep everything together, but I quickly found out that it was a bigger investment to do the type of work I wanted to do.” In 2015, Innovizual was born and by mid 2016 he got out of the music business.
In late 2016, Flip was searching for a new home and noticed a void in the local real estate market. He began by contacting a real estate agent and offered to do the photos for his next listing. The photos caught on, and soon he had clients contacting him on a regular basis. Since then, Flip has gone to shoot some of the biggest hotels in the business and has grown that company to #1 in the region, having shot for over 400 real estate agents, and private investors in just over 5 years.
Flip has become known for his cinematic style and highly creative ability, which give his videos a polished look that screams professional. He has also, become highly sought after for his work in the real estate industry. “It’s so crazy how I got where I am. I always wanted to be versatile, but I never thought my work would have people from completely different industries all calling me a legend”. Focusing on commercial work was always a goal from the beginning of his career, but his love for music videos remain as the “ultimate creative outlet”. As we speak, he is currently working on his first film and plans to take the film world by storm.
